Terms of service

These terms are between you and Whiti Reo Limited (“we”, “us”), trading as Mind Your Tongue, GST 117-143-532. By buying from us or joining Waka Wetereo you accept them. New Zealand law applies and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 rights are not limited by anything here.

Buying from the shop

• All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
• Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds and we email you a receipt.
• Delivery is charged at the courier rate you choose at checkout. We ship within New Zealand only. Delivery timeframes are the courier's estimate, not a guarantee.
• Stock is finite. If an item sells out between payment and packing we'll contact you and refund in full.

Changing or cancelling an order

You have 30 minutes after payment to cancel for a full automatic refund, using the link in your confirmation email. After that we may already have packed it — email us and we'll do what we reasonably can. Faulty or misdescribed items are always replaced or refunded.

Waka Wetereo membership

• Membership is $28 per month including GST, charged automatically by Stripe.
• You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the period you've paid for and we don't pro-rate part months.
• Membership is for one person. Don't share your login, and don't download, copy, redistribute or resell course material.
• Course content is ours (or our licensors'). You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it while your membership is active.

Community rules

Waka Wetereo includes a members' community. Be kind, be respectful of te reo and of other learners, and keep it appropriate. Posts are screened automatically for harmful or abusive content and are reviewable by us. We may hide content or end a membership for serious or repeated breaches; where we do, we'll tell you why.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service, and don't upload malware. We rate-limit and monitor for abuse.

Availability and liability

We aim for a reliable service but can't promise uninterrupted access. Where the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes affecting members will be emailed at least 14 days ahead.
